Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1954c. In 1954c he served in HMCS York for UNTD. (He was released.) He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (ROTP) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1956). He served in College Militaire Royal de St. Jean 1957. (Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 20/05/1959). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1959). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1960). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/12/1964). He served in HMCS York. (He was released.)
