He was a banker at the time of his recruitment into the navy.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Mate RNCVR (With seniority dated 12/09/1917). In 1917 he served in HMCS Rainbow as Additional for Training and Disposal. He served in HMCS Seagull 1918. (He was demobilized.)
