He was living in South Burnaby BC at the time of his recruitment into the navy.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1959. In 1959-1962 he served in HMCS Discovery for UNTD. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/05/1962). (He was released.)
