Biography
After is naval service he emigrated to Canada working as a land surveyor and town planner in British Columbia.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Cadet RNR. He served in H.M.S. Worcester (Thames Nautical Training College) 1934. He joined the British Merchant Navy 1936-1941. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RNR. He served in Pilot Course #23. He served in RAF Elmdon for #14 Elementary Flying Training School. He served in RAF Netheravon for #1 Service Flying Training School. He served in RNAS worthy Down 1941. He served in RNAS Yeovilton for Naval Fighter School 1941. He served in RNAS St. Merryn and H.M.S. Victorious for 809 RN Squadron 1942. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RNR. He served in RNAS Charlton Hawthorne for 879 RN Squadron as Commanding Officer 1942. He served in RAF Old Sarum for 879 RN Squadron at School of Land/Air Warfare 1942. He served in RAF Wittering 1943. He served in RNAS Eglinton and H.M.S.
