Biography
He was third naval officer to be elected to the Aviation Hall of Fame (Edmonton). He was awarded La Croix du Combattants de L'Europe. He was a Senior Companion of the Order of Icarus 1972. He was a member of the Order of Polaris 1974. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Silver Wings of the Northwest Territories 1974. He won the Wilkinson Trophy while with VX-10 Squadron 1957. He served as a Police Commissioner for the City of Nepean ON 1976-83. He participated in setting a World Class Record for hot air free ballon altitude of 25,405 feet in 1969.
