Anecdotes
He destroyed five enemy aircraft and two balloons. Scored all his victories in only 6 weeks with 4 Naval Squadron including a Gotha bomber, in his Sopwith Pup. Flying a Sopwith Camel the badly rigged machine shed a wing in combat.
