Biography
After his naval service he became a teacher of geography at Earl Haig Collegiate School in North York ON.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Airman 2/c (Temp.) RNVR (With seniority dated 04/02/1943). He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #51 Pilot Course 1943. He served in RCAF Goderich for #12 Elementary Flying Training School. He served in RCAF Aylmer ON for #14 Service Flying Training School. He was Awarded Wings 25/02/1944. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR (With seniority dated 25/02/1944). He served in RAF Errol for #9 (P) AFU 1944. He served in RAF Speke for 776 Squadron 1944. He served in H.M.S. Heron for 776 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Puttalam for 757 (Wildcat) Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Colombo for 845 (Wildcat) Squadron 1945, (Transferred to RCNVR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR. He served in H.M.S. Emperor for 888 (Hellcat) Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Empress for 888 (Hellcat) Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Shah for 888 (Hellcat) Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Ameer for 888 (Hellcat) Squadron 1945, (Transferred to RCNVR. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR, (He was demobilized.)
