Biography
After his naval service he worked on staff of Department of National Defence and in the British Columbia Systems Corporation.

He served in HMCS Chippawa for UNTD 1946-1948. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (L) (With seniority dated 12/1949). He served in HMCS Chippawa 1949. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (L) (With seniority dated 12/1949). He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 30/11/1950). He served in HMCS Stadacona for the Long Electrical Course 1950. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1950). He served in HMCS Stadacona on Staff of Electrical School 1951. He served in HMCS Cayuga as Electrical Officer (Korean War service) 1953. He served in HMC Dockyard Halifax on Staff 1955. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (L) RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1958). He served in HMCS Bytown for NDHQ on Staff of Chief of Logistics Engineering and Development 1958. He served on Staff of Flag Officer Pacific 1961. He served in HMCS Bytown 1964. (He was released 1973.) (He was qualified as an Electrical Officer.)
