Biography
In 1939 came to Canada with his parents, four brothers and his sister. He attended Queens and Dalhousie Universities and was called to the bar in 1954, practicing law in Kingston, then in Ottawa for 43 years.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (S) (UNTD) (RCN(R)) (With seniority dated 01/02/1950). He served in HMCS Scotian for UNTD 1949-1951. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (S) RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (S) RCN(R). He served in HMCS Cataraqui. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (S) (WHA) RCN(R). (He was released.)
