Biography
His home was in Toronto, he was the son of an architect, and he attended Upper Canada College and Ridley College, 1907-1915 at the time of his recruitment.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant RNAS (With seniority dated 01/12/1915) In Ottawa ON. He served in RNAS Chingford 01/12/1915. He served in RNAS Eastchurch 20/03/1916. He served in RNAS Dover-Dunkirk 25/04/1916. He served in #5 (Naval) Wing 28/05/1916 - 17/03/1917. He served in RNAS Dover 17/03/1917 - 02/07/1917 (War Flight 06/06/1917). He served in #5 (Naval) Squadron 02/07/1917. He served in RNAS Great Yarmouth, 17/05/1918 for North Sea patrols. He served in #212 Squadron. He served in RAF Crystal Palace, 17/03/1919. He was transferred to the Unemployed List 18/03/1919. (He was demobilized.)
