His listed next-of-kin, was his brother, Mr. Thomas Stafford, 727 Simpson Street, Evanston, Ill., U.S.A. His parents lived in Enniskillen, Ireland.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNCVR. He was appointed as an Able-Seaman RNCVR. He served in HMCS Galiano 1918. (He was lost in HMCS Galiano in a storm off Vancouver Island BC October 30, 1918).
