Biography
He was the Commanding Officer of Royal Canadian Sea Cadet corps “RCSCC Jacques Cartier” for ten years. in Sept-Iles, QC prior to joining the Coast Guard in 1968. He retired from Federal public service in 1994 after 26 years of service.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1948. In 1948 he served in HMCS Donnacona for UNTD. He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (E) (UNTD) (RCN(R)) (With seniority dated 01/12/1948). He served in HMCS Carleton for UNTD 1948-1953. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (E) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1953). In 1953 she served in HMCS Donnacona. (He was released 1957.)
