He was married to Lieutenant (MT) RCN Jean Marguerite Sabiston.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 15/01/1950). He served in HMCS York for UNTD 1949-1951. (Transferred to RCN). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN. He served in HMCS Stadacona for HMC Gunnery School for 1st RCN Officer's Gunnery Long Course 1957. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 01/07/1962). He served in NDHQ on Staff of DSOR. (He was retired.)
