Biography
After his naval service he was Administrator for Acadia University School of Business computer lab. Worked in data and computer work to present. He established James W. Stegen Consulting 1991. (He received the Silver Acorn Medal of the Boy Scouts of Canada for "especially distinguished service to Scouting.")

He was appointed as a Private RCEME (Militia) 1949. (Transferred to RCN). He was appointed as a Ordinary Seaman Communicator (S) (With seniority dated 28/09/1950).
