Biography
His home was in Toronto ON at the time of his recruitment. attended Curtiss Flying School. He was awarded Royal Aero Club Certificate 1715 on 01/09/1915.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant, RNAS (With seniority dated 01/09/1915) in Ottawa ON. He sailed on the Corinthian from Montreal QC September 1915. He served at Portsmouth 1915. He served in RNAS Hendon 1915. He served in RNAS Eastchurch 1915. He served in RNAS Calshot 1915. He served in RNAS Bembridge 1916. He served in RNAS Dover 1916. He served in RNAS Westgate 1916. He served in Port Said (Seaplane Depot) 1916. He was in Hospital 1917 and invalided to UK in 1918. He was given three months leave in Canada which was later extended. (He was demobilized.)
