Military Service

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNCVR. He was appointed as an Able-Seaman RNCVR 1917. In 1917 he served in Esquimalt BC. He was appointed as a Signalman RNCVR. He was appointed as a Petty Officer. He served in HMC CD-8 (based at Sierra Leone for West African service 1918). He served in HMC CD-2 (based at Sierra Leone for West African service 1918). He served in HMC CD-7 (based at Sierra Leone for West African service 1918). He served in HMC CD-11 (based at Sierra Leone for West African service 1918). (He died while on active duty.)
