Biography
He was a book keeper at the time of his recruitment into the navy.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Mate RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/04/1917). In 1917 he served in HMCS Rainbow as Additional for Training and Disposal. (He was demobilized.) (Mobilized for World War Two service). He was appointed as a Chief Skipper (Temp.) RCNR (With seniority dated 30/11/1941). He served in HMCS Cowichan (I). He was appointed as a Skipper Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNR. He served in HMCS Cowichan (I) (In command) 1945. (He was demobilized.)
