Biography
After his naval service he worked for an insulation company in Regina SK. Later he taught business courses at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology.

He was appointed as an Naval Cadet RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1962). He served in HMCS Star for Training 1962. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1966). He served in HMCS Saguenay for Training 1966. He served in CFB Borden for Flying Training 1966. He served in CFB Portage for Flying Training 1967, Awarded Wiings 01/07/1967. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/07/1967). He served in CFB Winnipeg for Air Navigation School 1967. He served in CFB Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron 1967.
