Biography
After his naval service he studied Mining Engineering at the University of Alberta. On graduation joined Mobil Oil and Triac Oil. He started up the Porta-Test Co. He received several Government of Alberta Achievement Awards.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #51 Pilot Training Course. He served in #12 Elementary Flying Training School. He served in #14 Service Flying Training School. (Transferred to RCNVR). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 22/03/1944). He served in 809 RN Squadron as Pilot 1944. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 22/09/1944). (He was demobilized.)
