His next-of-kin, was listed as Miss Jennie Fennah, 142 New Hall Street, San Francisco, California, U.S.A. He was the son of Mattei Tabone of Valletta Malta. He was a steward before his recruitment into the navy.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Victualling Petty Officer RNCVR. He served in HMCS Galiano 1918. (He was lost in HMCS Galiano in a storm off Vancouver Island BC October 30, 1918).
