Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1954. In 1954-1955 he served in HMCS Star for UNTD. (He was released.) (Transferred to RCN). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/07/1957). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 17/05/1964). He served in HMCS Algonquin. In 1965 he served in HMCS Stadacona. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (MARS) (With seniority dated 01/01/1971). He served in HMCS Moresby (in command) 1990. (He was released.)
