Biography
His next-of-kin, was his mother, Mrs. Agnes Butler, Deer Island, N.B. He was a stoker before his recruitment into the navy.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Stoker (2nd Class) RNCVR. He served in HMCS Galiano 1918. (He was lost in HMCS Galiano in a storm off Vancouver Island BC October 30, 1918).
