He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (O) (Temp.) RNVR. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (O) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #49 Observer Training course H.M.S. Goshawk (Piarco Trinidad) for Observer Training. He served in RNAS Fearn for 747 RN Squadron 1944. He served in H.M.S. Indomitable for 815 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Arbroath for 737 RN Squadron 1945, RAF Mullagamore for 815 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Machrihanish for 815 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Cochin India for 815 RN Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Smiter for 815 RN Squadron 1945. (He was demobilized.)
