Military Service
He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He served in H.M.S. Goshawk (Piarco Trinidad) for Observer Training. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 20/06/1942) (Later backdated to 1941). In 1944 he served in HMCS Niobe. (He was demobilized.)
