Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 26/01/1950). He served in HMCS Star for UNTD 1949-1951. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1952). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/06/1955). (Transferred to RCN). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 10/06/1955). In 1960 he served on the staff of Recruiting Office East. (He was released.)
