Military Service

He was appointed as an OSEM RCN 1959. He was appointed as a Observer's Mate. He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Bonaventure. (CFR). He served in CFB Winnipeg for Air Navigation Training. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (ANAV). He served in CFB Greenwood for 404 Squadron as Air Navigator. He served in Defence Research Establishment Dartmouth as Special Project Officer. He served in 422 Squadron. He served in MARPAC HQ as Command Oceanographer. He was appointed as a MAJ (ANAV). He served in NDHQ on Staff of Directorate of Meteorology and Oceanography as Staff Officer (Oceanographic Plans) 1991. (He was released.)
