Biography
His two brothers were also killed-in-action while in air service in the First World War. His sister was married to Air Marshall Raymond Collishaw.

He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS (With seniority dated 1917). He was appointed as a Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS (With seniority dated 1917). He served in #10 (Naval) Squadron 1917. He was appointed as a Flight Lieutenant RNAS 1917.

He was the brother of Stanley and Don Trapp. He had 6 victories in World War One. He was shot down and killed-in-action on 13/11/1917. Engaging enemy two-seater, his Sopwith Camel was seen to break up in the air near Fortheim, Belgium.
