Biography
He emigrated to Victoria BC on the Tunisian in 1910 with parents and brother. He was a decorator at the time of his recruitment into the navy.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RNCVR (With seniority dated 09/08/1917). In 1917 he served in HMCS Rainbow. He served in HMCS Lansdowne 1918. After the war he was appointed as Lieutenant (Navy League). He served as the First Lieutenant of the Boys Naval Brigade 1920. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (Navy League) as Commanding Officer of the HMCS Rainbow Sea Cadet Corps in Victoria BC.
