Biography
After his naval service he worked with the Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Communications 1966-75. He was the Resident Engineer Highway Construction and Paving Contracts 1966-1975. He was appointed as the Division Engineer 1975-1986. He was the Director of the Motor Vehicle Inspection Division 1986-92. He was the Director Regulatory Development 1992. He retired again in 1994.

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (ROTP) RCN (With seniority dated 06/09/1958). He served in the College Militaire Royal de St. Jean 1958. He served in HMCS Lauzon for Training 1959. He served in HMCS Jonquiere for Training 1960. He served in Royal Military College of Canada 1961. He served in in HMCS Jonquiere for Training 1961. He served in HMCS Bonaventure for Training 1962. He served in HMCS Shearwater for Training, Centralia for Training. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/05/1963). He served in RCAF Centralia for Primary Flying School 1963. He served in RCAF Rivers for Advanced Flying Training 1964. He was Awarded Wings. He served in HMCS Shearwater for Helicopter Training 1964. He served in HMCS Bonaventure for HS-50 Squadron 1965. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 31/05/1966). He served in HMCS Shearwater for Photographic Section HU-21 Squadron 1966. He served in HMCS Shearwater for HS-50 Squadron as Operational Pilot 1965. (He was released.)
