Military Service

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNVR. He served in RNAS Yarmouth for TAG Course. He served in #1 NAGS for WAG Training Course (Mount Hope) 1944. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #85 Observer Training Course. He served in RNAS Rattray for Observer Training 1945. He served in RNAS Arbroath for Observer Training. He served in RNAS Rattray for 753 Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Arbroath for 767 RN Squadron 1946. (He was demobilized 1946.)
