Biography
He attended grade school in Victoria, and high school in Metchosin, British Columbia. Blair studied two years at Victoria College and continued his studies at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, where he received his Medical Doctorate. In 1960 he moved to New York. where he worked as an anesthesiologist for 43 years. He began his career at Meadowbrook Hospital (now Nassau County Medical Center) on Long Island, New York. In 1975, he became a full time partner of the Department of Anesthesia at Brunswick Hospital in Amityville, NY, and served as President of the Medical staff at Brunswick until 1980. He retired from medical practice in 2003 due to health difficulties and moved to Holladay, Utah.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1953. In 1953 he served in HMCS Malahat for Training. (He was released.)
