Biography

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a AC 2/c (Pilot Candidate) RCAF. He served in the RCAF for Flying Training. (CFR). He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF. He was appointed as a Flying Officer RCAF. Released. (Transferred to RNVR), He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR 1945. He served in H.M.S. Macaw 1945, RAF Errol for #9 AFU 1945. He served in RNAS Arbroath for 803 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Nutts Corners for 803 RN Squadron 1945. He was killed in a flying accident on 02/10/1945 when his plane collided with other Seafire during formation flight, crashed near Cushendall, Co. Antrim.
