Biography
After his naval service he joined the BC Provincial Parks Service.

He served in HMCS Cornwallis for #2 Junior Air Officer Training Course 1952. He served in HMCS Ontario for Training 1952. He served in HMCS Sault Ste. Marie for Training 1953. He served in HMCS Beacon Hill for Training 1953. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (O) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1953). He served in HMCS Shearwater for Observer School 1953, Awarded Flying Badge 26/02/1954. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (O) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1953). He served in H.M.S. Gannet for Advanced Anti-submarine Course 1954. He served in H.M.S. Dryad for AIO Course 1954. He served in NAF Summerside for VS-880 Squadron for Observer Duties 1954. He served in Canadian Joint Air Training Centre Rivers MB for VS-880 Squadron 1954. He served in Kindley AFB Bermuda for VS-880 Squadron 1954. He served in HMCS Magnificent and Summerside for VS-880 Squadron 1955. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) RCN (With seniority dated 08/11/1955). He served in HMCS Magnificent and HMCS Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron 1955. He served in HMCS Shearwater For Duty With VS-880 Squadron 1956. He served in HMCS Shearwater for Air Operations Room Duty 1957. He served in HMCS Shearwater for ARC 1958. (He was released 30/06/1959.) (Transferred to RCN(R)). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 08/11/1955). He served in HMCS Malahat 1959. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/01/1968). He served in HMCS Malahat as Executive Officer 1972-74. He served in the UN Emergency Force Middle East (Ismailia Egypt) as Information Officer 1974. (He was released.)
