He was appointed as a AC/2 RCAF 1943. He served in #2 RCAF Manning Depot 1943. He served in RCAF Calgary for #2 Wireless 1943. He served in RCAF Lethbridge for #8 BandG 1943. He served in RCAF Regina for #2 ITS 1943. He served in RCAF Virden for #19 EFTS 1943. He served in RCAF Gimli for #18 SFTS 1944. He served in RCAF Winnipeg for #5 RC 1945, (Transferred). He served in RNAS Dartmouth 1945. He served in H.M.S. Macaw 1945. He served in RAF Ternhill for #5 AFU 1945. He served in RN College Greenwich 1945. He served in RNAS Perlow 1945. He served in RNAS Arbroath 1945. He served in H.M.S. Seaborn 1945, (Short Service Appointment commencing 01/06/1947). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN 01/06/1947. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Officers Divisional Course 1947. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1948). (He vanished, presumed dead, in a Banshee crash 22/04/1956 enroute from Quonset RI to HMCS Shearwater.)
