Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Airman RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #60 Pilot Training Course. He was Awarded Wings. (CFR). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RN. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) RN. He served in RNAS Hinstock for 758 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Henstridge for 761 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS St. Merryn for 761 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Henstridge for 718 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Ayr for 768 RN Squadron 1945, Demobilized, (Transferred to RCNR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 27/09/1954). He served in HMCS York for VC-920 Reserve Squadron 1953. (He was released.)
