Biography
After his naval service he joined Transport Canada as Senior Helicopter Pilot Prince Rupert 1976, Vancouver as Air Carrier Inspector (Fixed Wing), Regional Manager Licencing, Regional Manager Air Carrier Operations, Retired again on 01/02/1989.

He served in HMCS Stadacona for MARCOM HQ as Air Operations Officer 1965. He served in HMCS Shearwater for HMCS Shearwater for HU-21 Squadron as Commanding Officer 1968, MARPAC HQ as Senior Staff Officer Personnel 1973, CFB Comox for VP-407 Squadron as Flight Commander 1973. (He was retired 07/10/1976. (He was qualified with a Watchkeeping Certificate.)
