He served in RAF Old Sarum for 879 RN Squadron 1942. He served in RNAS Stretton for 879 RN Squadron 1943. (He was demobilized.) (Transferred to RNR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RNR. (Transferred to RCN through Short Service Appointment 09/07/1951). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 09/07/1951).
