Biography
He was an accountant at the time of his recruitment into the navy. After his naval service he worked for the Premier Gold Mining Co. and the Hudsons Bay Co.

He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RNCVR (With seniority dated 03/05/1917). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RNCVR (With seniority dated 03/05/1917). He served in HMCS Rainbow 1917. (He was demobilized.)
