Biography
After his naval service he undertook contract magnetometer survey flying. In 1970 he joined Canada Customs in the Port of Victoria BC as Inspector. (He retired again 1988.)

He was appointed as an AC 2/c (Pilot Candidate) RCAF (With seniority dated 29/08/1942). He served in RCAF Davidson SK for #23 Elementary Flying Training School 1943. (He was Awarded Pilot Wings 12/11/1943). (CFR). He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF (With seniority dated 12/11/1943). He served in RCAF Trenton for #1 Flying Instructor School 1943. (He was qualified as a Flying Instructor 28/01/1944.) He was appointed as a Flying Officer RCAF 1944. He served in RCAF Centralia for #9 Service Flying Training School 1944.
