He taught high school in Montreal QC. After his retirement he returned to St. John's NL.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (S) (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 02/01/1956). He served in HMCS Cabot for UNTD 1955-1957. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (S) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/07/1958). In 1958 he served in HMCS Cabot. (He was released.)
