Biography
He was educated in the UK. He came to Canada in 1913. He was a master at St.Alban's School, Brockville. He attended the Curtiss Flying School, Toronto ON and was awarded Royal Aero Club certificate 4046 dated 21/11/1916.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant RNAS (With seniority dated 22/11/1916) in Ottawa ON. He served in RAF Cranwell 18/06/1918. He served inRNAS Calshot (for instruction) 18/09/1917. He served in RNAS Lee-on-Solent Seaplane School 18/12/1917. He served in RNAS Calshot (patrol duties, Lee-on-Solent area) 1918. (He was demobilized.)
