Military Service
(Short Service Appointment 25/03/1955). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 25/03/1955). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 04/04/1956). He served in NHQ for Special Duty for Flight Training at No.2 Flying Training School RCAF Station Moose Jaw 1956. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 04/04/1956). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 04/06/1958). He served in HMCS Shearwater as Pilot in HS-50 Squadron 1958, (Selected for permanent commission). He served in HMCS Shearwater for VX-10 Squadron for Flight Evaluation 1964. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN. He served in CFB Moose Jaw for T-33 refresher course. (On October 08, 1966 he was killed in a T-33 trainer crash at Moose Jaw SK while flying cross country (Moose Jaw to Edmonton) with FO Allan Nygaard RCAF (flying instructor), and they crashed near Cabri, SK Canada.)
