St. Vincent for #23 Pilot Training Course 1941. He served in RAF Elmdon for #14 Elementary Flying Training School, RAFKingston for #31 Service Flying Training School 1941. He was Awarded Wings 01/10/1941. (CFR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/10/1941) (Later backdated to 31/12/1939).
