Biography
After he was demobilized he joined Siple Aircraft Co. at Jericho Beach Vancouver BC 1945. After his naval service he worked as a missionary in Viet Nam 1966-1968. In 1968 he joined the Satellite Christian Institute as a Professor of Christian Leadership.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Fitter RCAF (With seniority dated 10/10/1940). He served in RCAF Ucluelet 1940. He served in RCAF Malton for Quality Control Course 1943. He served in RCAF Vancouver for Quality Control Duty (Boeing Plant) 1943. (He was demobilized 01/09/1943). (Transferred to RCN 31/12/1945). He was appointed as a Petty Officer First Class (A/A) RCN 31/12/1945. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Technical Instructor. He was appointed as a Chief Petty Officer RCN. (CFR 1950). He was appointed as a Commissioned Officer 1950. He served in NHQ as Staff Officer (Aircraft Modifications) 1950. He attended UCLA for a Flight Safety Course 1953. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (E) RCN (With seniority dated 23/06/1952). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (E) (Star) RCN (With seniority dated 01/04/1954). He served in NHQ on Staff of Assistant Chief of Naval Staff for Directorate of Naval Flight Safety as Staff Officer (Engineering) 1954. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (E) (A/E) RCN. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VF-870 Squadron as Air Engineer Officer 1957. In 1958 he served in HMCS shearwater. NAMS as Education Officer. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 23/06/1960). He served on the International Commission for Control and Supervision (ICCS) in Viet Nam 1962. He served in HMCS Naden for Engineering Division 1964. (He was retired 1966. (He was qualified for air engineering Duties.)
