(Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (SSA) RCN. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 12/02/1964). He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron as Pilot 1964. (He was released.)
