Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCN(R) 1947. He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1948. In 1947-1951 he served in HMCS Unicorn for UNTD. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 06/02/1951). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 0602/1953). In 1958 he served in HMCS Unicorn. (He was released.)
