Biography
After his naval service he joined Conair for Budworm Spray Project in New Brunswick and Firebombing in BC.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet COTC (UBC) (With seniority dated 01/09/1941). (Transferred to RCAF 1943. He served in RCAF Virden for Elementary Flying Training 1943. He served in RCAF Gimli for Service Flying Training 1943. (CFR). He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF 01/11/1944, (Transferred to RNVR 01/04/1945). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (A) RNVR 01/04/1945, (Transferred to RCNVR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR 03/05/1945. He served in H.M.S. Dipper for Flying Training 1946. He served in H.M.S. Merganser for Flying Training 1946, (Transferred to RCN with Short Service Appointment commencing 30/04/1947). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 03/05/1946). He served in H.M.S. Fulmar for Deck landing Training 1946. He served in H.M.S. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Officer-in-Charge of the Aircrew Division 1960. He served in HMCS Bonaventure/HMCS Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron as Senior Pilot 1962, Bell Helicopter Flight 1964. He served in HMCS Discovery as Naval Career Counsellor 1964. (He was retired 01/07/1968.
