Biography

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (L) (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 25/02/1949). He served in HMCS Carleton for UNTD 1948-1949. (He was released.) (Short Service Commission). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 08/01/1951. He served in HMCS Bytown 1950. He served in HMCS Ontario for Sea Training 1950. He served in HMCS Beacon Hill for Sea Training. He served in HMCS Magnificent for Sea Training. He served with the Royal Navy for training in #8 Observers Course 1951. (He died in a flying accident on 28/04/1952 in poor weather at night.)
