He came from Vernon BC. He graduated in 1958 from UBC with a BComm. He was a long-standing CA in Kamloops BC.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1955. In 1955 he served in HMCS Discovery for UNTD. He served in HMCS Hochelaga for Supply Training. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (S) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/07/1957). In 1957 he served in HMCS Discovery. (He was released.)
