Biography
He was living in Alliston ON at the time of his recruitment. He was the son of Gordon Alexander Wright and grandson of Captain A.W. Baker (founder of the University Naval Training Division). He was qualified in banking, trust, Insurance and Investments. He was employed as a Professor of Financial Planning, Compliance and Forensic Accounting. He was the President of Wright & Co. Certified Fraud Examiner, Arbitrator and Forensic Accountant specialised in international taxation, securities, compliance and intellectual property. He was the author of several texts on accounting and finance including Demons in the Financial World.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1965. He served in HMCS York for UNTD 1965. He served in HMCS Star for UNTD 1966. He served in HMCS Cornwallis for Training 1966. He served in HMCS Porte St. Jean 1966. He served in HMCS Malahat for Training 1967. He served in HMCS Porte Quebec 1967. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) 1967. He served in CFB Valcartier 1970. He served in CFB Borden for the Supply Officer specialization course 1971. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (RCN(R)) 1973. He served in HMCS York 1993. (He was released 1993.)
